hello in today's video we will be adding a second hard right an HP probook by replacing the optical drive and this is done by the use of a second HDD or second hard drive caddy and so first thing we want to do is turn the laptop over and we have foam here just so that we don't scratch the bottom or the top of the laptop so to gain access to the optical drive we have to slide this latch over this pop the pop cover and we'll just set that aside and now we have our hard drive caddy and this is what we're gonna use to add the second drive so to remove the optical drive which is over here there is a screw that holds the optical drive in place just loosen that screw which is spring-loaded and there is a little tab here at the bottom which you just push over to eject the optical drive now here's our original optical drive and here is our drive caddy so we can either use a solid-state drive or
