hey it's Garrett today we're going to be replacing a battery on Lenovo x1 carbon tools that you are going to need our small Phillips head screwdriver and a plastic pry tool which is optional to start flip the computer over and remove the seven screws at the base of the computer small jar lid works pretty good to hold the screws once all seven screws have been removed flip the computer over and open the lid today I'm going to be using the optional plastic pry tool slide that in between the keyboard and the base computer it should on stop once the keyboard is on snap from the base and lift it up and rest it against the screen there's three screws holding the battery in place and a computer don't remove those three screws on close a new boundary label down inside the computer where the old battery was place the keyboard back down and snap it into place press down on the edges to make sure
