[Music] hi I'm Andy and this is the BC Link 2.0 communication system this is the next evolution of the BC link the biggest difference is this is a 2 watt radio so you're gonna have increased usable range and also clearer transmission when you're out in the field we redesigned the mic one of the biggest changes here is we designed the speaker to shed snow so when you're out traveling in cold wet conditions that snow is not gonna glob up on the speaker and muffle your communication so that snow should shed right off of there we also set the dials the preset dial and the power and volume dials down into the housing so they're harder to accidentally hit as we're traveling through the backcountry also the push-to-talk button has a little bit more action on it so you can really feel when you've got that button pushed down with your thick warm gloves on the mic also has an earphone jack on the
