hi everyone in this short and simple video I'm going to show you how to take a category 6 cable and connect it to a category 6 Jack now it doesn't matter whether this category 6 or whether this category 5 same thing with a cable category 6 category 5 the process is still the same the tools you'll need are a pair of lineman snips and a 110 punch down tool however if you don't have these things you probably can get by with a pair of household scissors and these little plastic tools have been coming with the jack inserts these little things they've been coming in the same kit with these lately so you could probably use this too it's not the preferred method but we're gonna we'll do it both ways so you can you can see it both with the punch tool and also with this little plastic insert tool ok so to begin the first thing we need to do is to strip back the jacket from the cat6 cable so the j
