when a boarder calls and tells me that one trim tab is creeping up a lot of times the first place let go is the actuator that's more than likely not the problem what we're going to go is inside the hydraulic power unit and we're going to look for for material lost underneath the solenoid valve seat so we're going to carefully remove a solenoid and you don't want to lose the plunger and spring down into the bilge and then we're going to take a paper clip put a little hook on the end of it reach down into the pump lift out a valve seat and more than likely you're going to find a little piece of foreign material down in here you simply clean it out and then replace the valve seat if you don't see any foreign material in there and the valve seat may be cracked give us a call
