[Music] hey everyone welcome back to Ali's vintage camera Ali I am Ali of course and it's been a little bit since I've put a video up and in case you were wondering it's because I had an injury to my eye I somehow got a splinter in the cornea of my eye yeah that was painful as you can imagine that was torture I had to stay in the dark and keep my eyes closed for a while but I'm okay now I wanted to start the year off by talking about my favorite SLR as you can see it's my favorite the Nikon F and this system has a lot of parts to it so I'm going to do this first episode to give a little bit of history about the camera to go over the specs of it give you some tips if you're looking into buying one and also show you some pictures I've taken with it at the end so let's get started so in 1959 Nikon decided that they wanted to take their successful rangefinder line and create an SLR camera t
