hi I'm Dave Johnson from blue C systems and I wanted to tell you about a product it appears to be very common and they are a basic building block on a number of electrical systems on boats all over the world this is a bus bar and it can be used both for consolidating positive wires or negative wires what makes blue c systems products like this different than others is that we use tin plated copper tin plated copper in the product where others will use brass copper is much more conductive which is why you have copper wire rather than brass wire the tin plating prevents the corrosion we also use stainless steel studs and in this particular case we use a custom stud that will allow it allows you to eliminate the nut that's commonly used to hold the bus bar down this will allow the conductor or wire to go directly onto the bus bar with a nut going on top of that this little feature actually
