hi Chuck Holly with blue c-systems you know I recently upgraded the electronics on my boat and I found one of the challenges is trying to find a waterproof way of running wires from the outside of the cabin into the inside of the cabin into the instrument area the solution for this is the blue sea systems cable clamp this is a family of products that allows you to run wires through a bulkhead or a deck or through a transom in a waterproof fashion let me show you how it works the heart of the cable clamp is this gland that goes around the wire and it has a hole that is either pre-drilled or that you can drill with standard twist bits and that's exactly the right diameter to fit around the wire this is also split so that you can open it up put it over the wire and close it back down now the connector on the end of your wire whether it's a PL 2:59 connector or one of these other very diffi
