with the bbp 35 and VV p 37 sign and label printers installing and changing your label material is a snap let's start by first becoming familiar with a label roll you'll notice on the role that on one end of the spindle is a chip this is a smart self and interfaces with the printer and tells the printer everything it needs to know about that roll of tape or labels and automatically sets everything up for you locate the two metal prongs in your printer this is where the smart cell connects to the printer drop the role in place pinch the yellow button on the guide inside the printer and slide the media guides to their widest position you'll notice that all for guides move together pull the leading edge of the tape under the first set of guides and let it rest so that most of the black rubber roller is covered the printer will do the rest of the threading for you slide the guides together
