hi it's jake with zion security alarms i'm going to show you today how to replace your adt dse impassa backup battery so you do just need to have the battery and a small screwdriver the small screwdriver just needs to fit down here on the bottom this little space and you just kind of pry out the keypad so it pops up a little bit then you can just lift this up above the keypad and you see here here's the old backup battery this is where it's plugged in and so all you need to do is unplug that and then this you'll want to unscrew this screw right here and then lift this up and then you'll be able to pull the old battery out and put the new battery in okay and then you can tighten that screw just reconnect it'll take this wire here and just reconnect it and i got it a little bit snagged over there once you reconnect it it's going to power the keypad back on you'll just want to tuck it in l
