Hi, Travis from POSGuys.com, Today we are taking a look at the Brecknell 6710 scale, and going over tear options for it. One of the unique tear options of this scale is that it has a motion sensor in order to do tear. So, if you are trying to do something like put a tray on top of the scale and your hands are dirty because you are using raw meat or some kind of chemical and then you want to do a tear, then you can just wipe your hand over the sensor and it will redo the tear so that you can zero out the scale and get an accurate weight of what you want. So, the first step to setting up the tear is to turn on your scanner. So, you turn it on and let it initialize. Once it is showing the double zeros, it's ready to initialize.
