hi everyone i am rebecca from chemnitz and today we are going to play with some greener shades acid dyes this is a type of commercial acid dye marketed as being the responsible way to die and it's thought to be greener because the dyes don't contain every any heavy metal ions the middle ions in pre-metallized dyes can make the colors brighter and more color fast so there's some benefits to that but there are plenty of acid dyes that don't have heavy metals in them at all including food coloring which is technically functions as an acid dye but i do want to point out that while these might be greener because you're not introducing heavy metals into the environment these are still commercial dyes and so you need to take proper safety precautions when you are using them and so just like with jacquard or dharma as it dies when i'm using these in the powder form i will wear a respirator mask
