okay so I got a gateway in v5 1:05 you and that light right there keeps blinking and that light is the charged light so when it's charging it would be solid but now it's blinking and if I unplug my computer it just shuts the computer completely off so the battery is bad let's just see if replacing it will fix it all right so I'm shutting down the computer and I bought a new battery off eBay for $12 here it is once this power is off after doing the updates and I will replace a battery and see if the blinking light goes away all right computer shutdown done plug it and then let's get to the battery so battery is down here at the bottom and there is a lock right here for the battery need be aware of is if it's down like that you go to hit the eject button and it won't work then you make sure it's lift up and then you can push on this and lock that battery rather like that pull it out now l
