this is my V faux GPS mount modification video when you attach your dash cam to the GPS mount on your windshield and drive over rough roads or even slightly cracked roads you will note you'll hear a sound in your audio and that is the rocking of your dash count on this mount not only that but your lens moves causing a shake in all video recorded this is not acceptable I have come up with an extremely simple solution to it to fix all GPS mounts currently being sold by default it involves the area shown here there is motion here this isn't a design opportunity missed by the company we're about to correct that for minimal cost this do-it-yourself GPS mount modification involves applying a special tape in the correct position in the right number of layers to build up a gap between the mount and your dash cam this is the first layer this is with four layers of tape we're just a little over h
