so it's probably one of the easiest projects you can do and that's setting up an Ethernet switch and basically what this device is going to do it's going to allow me to connect multiple computers to my router now what I actually have is I have you can see there's an Ethernet port in my office here and I have it connected to one computer but I actually have two computers in here so I'm going to do is set this up this switch so that both computers can be connected hardwired without using Wi-Fi so you can see this is a Linksys router cisco router excuse me router running switch it's really small all you have back here is you have power and then you have five ports so we're going to do is one port is going to go to my router and then the other two will go to you know have a possible for going to computers off to in this case now this is a switch and not a hub switch is a little bit smarter
