The Monitor Audio ICS-8 In-Ceiling subwoofer is designed to be a discreet way to deliver powerful bass into any room. The ICS-8 In-Ceiling subwoofer requires the CFB3-R or CFB3-SQ preconstruction kits. The CFB3-R includes a round mudbank and grille and the CFB3-SQ includes a square mudbank and grille. The installation process is the same for both preconstruction brackets. Place the preconstruction bracket between the ceiling joists and tack using pins. Attach the port-tube to the subwoofer box and tighten the hose clip. The subwoofer can be mounted onto 3 common types of joist: Wire in the subwoofer and test that it’s operating normally before continuing. Pull the tube down and tie the string to the bracket loop. Place plasterboard over the bracket and cut a hole measuring 120mm in diameter. Align the mudbank with the D-shaped loop on the bracket and use the screw holes to mark out dril
