hi this is kyle sandra okay so there's a little insert right here and if it's backwards and made to fit the nntn4851 these little notches on the side of the radio won't line up with the the insert notch right there so fit inside this charger so you got to squeeze these together pull it out flip it around sorry push it back in you got to make sure it clicks on both sides and then the nntn4497 battery will fit that's this battery that's a lithium ion high capacity so it's the lightest weight with the most capacity to hold a charge and that's what we stock now so anyway that's the scoop
