feel much what's up film jammers lately I've been hearing a lot of photographers talking about their favorite portrait lenses and sure the 85 millimeter Prime's one thirty five-millimeter primes they're great the old standards but what about a lens like the 24 to 105 millimeter zoom can you shoot portraits on this old film can it be an alternative portrait lens well let's find out [Music] okay so the 24 millimeter 105 lens it's not your typical portrait lens it's not super fast it's only got an F for aperture so you can't get shallow really easily but it does have image stabilization and it's a really common lens in most photographers bags so I think it's worth a test to take it out and see what we can do with it to make some portraits I'm thinking of shooting it more at the telephoto end somewhere between 70 millimeter and 105 millimetres to put some distance between our subject and th
