[Applause] [Music] [Applause] hello and welcome to the moment photography my name is Ross and I've been a professional photographer since 2006 now today I would like to talk about a unusual lens it's a macro lens now you may say or macro lens is another unusual lens but this lens is what I would call the mother of macro lenses so this is what you might think of a typical macro lens this is a 100 millimeter 2.8 is so image stabilized macro lens now this lens is a one-to-one scale lens okay so we've got that one there but this one here this beast this one is a 1 to 5 scale macro lens now it looks quite small actually when you compare the two of them but the difference is because this goes to 5 5 times magnification that is you need to have a an awfully long barrel to the lens now I actually bought this lens back in 2013 so I've had it 7 years but I haven't actually used it a great deal no
