hi i'm ben with at and this is the canon 5ds a lot of you may be wondering what's the difference between the new 5ds and your canon 5d mark iii uh the two are pretty similar in a lot of ways but also they have some key differences that really set them apart so we'll go over both of those starting out with the body it's pretty much identical to the canon 5d mark iii the button layout is identical the menus on the inside are similar it uses the same 61 point autofocus system and uses the same lp e6 batteries so just by looking at it you might think they may be the same camera but there are some key differences the first of being exterior you have a usb 3.0 port to offload the the footage from this camera to your computer which is a new addition over the 5d mark iii but you lose your headphone jack but the real differences are on the inside of this camera with the sensor it has a 50.6 mega
