Canon incorporates the best features of its standard SLR cameras and Advanced Photo System features to produce the EOS IX Lite. It's smaller than most SLR cameras but retains all of the important features you've come to expect for creative control. Because it is an APS camera, film handling is fully automatic. Print quality improvement, index print sheets, and three different picture formats for traditional, wide angle, and panoramic shots are all built in.

The EOS IX Lite offers automatic adjustment for close-ups, portraits, landscapes, action scenes, and night shots. There is a high-performance three- point autofocus system, and an advanced built-in flash that activates automatically or can be shut off manually.

It integrates six-zone exposure metering sensors with three autofocus points for ideal exposures in all kinds of lighting conditions. The autofocus system also detects whether the subject is stationary or moving, and automatically adjusts focusing so you can get great shots of sports events. You can use any Canon EF lenses or Speedlites to expand your photographic capabilities.

[Music] hi everyone that was real night here and today I'm out in the Alberta badlands doing my first impressions on the canon eos IX light I think we'll mix this a really interesting film camera is that it's an aps SLR and when I found out that there were ApS SLRs I immediately bought one on ebay so because it's an SLR it offers everything that a regular 35 millimeter camera does it also does some things that just ApS does like the ability to change your frames ratio I haven't tested the camera and the film is expired so this should be an interesting day I already got some batteries in it and I know that it fires so the next thing to do is just toss some film in it it sounded rough ok I'm gonna get started now [Music] [Applause] beautiful [Music] so as I mentioned before I'm in the Alberta badlands and more specifically I'm in Dorothy Alberta which is a tiny little hamlet I guess you c
