hi I'm Sean with fotodiox and today I'm at beautiful Lake Michigan to take a look at the 2x teleconverter for Canon cameras from fotodiox this teleconverter effectively doubles the focal length of your lens which is pretty amazing if you're already using it you know a pretty long lens like this 300 millimeter when you put the teleconverter between it it basically makes it a 600 millimeter which is pretty amazing let me show you how to put it on pretty simple all you're gonna do is remove the lens you're gonna take the cap off the front of the teleconverter you're gonna line up the red dot on the teleconverter with the red dot on the lens I'm just gonna put them together there you go the back of the teleconverter becomes the new back of your lens you line up the red dot on the teleconverter with the red dot on the camera snap it on and you're ready to go now remember this is a 2 X extend
