The Canon EOS Rebel SL3 features a 24.1MP APS-C-format CMOS sensor and DIGIC 8 image processor, high-resolution stills, UHD 4K video recording, in-camera 4K time-lapse, and a wide ISO 100-25600 sensitivity range. Dual Pixel CMOS AF, uses phase-detection autofocus. 9-point phase-detection system for quick and accurate focusing. 3.0" 1.04m-dot touchscreen LCD uses a vari-angle design. Additionally, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for quick image sharing.

The EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens, provides a 28.8-88mm equivalent focal length range. STM focusing mechanism provides near-silent focusing abilities. Optical Image Stabilizer minimizes appearance of camera shake by up to four shutter speed steps.

The EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III is a 4x zoom that utilizes a micro USM to provide noticeably quick, near-silent, and precise autofocus. A Super Spectra coating to reduce lens flare and ghosting. Additionally, it features a seven-blade diaphragm to produce smooth and pleasing bokeh.
