atcs TV viewers it's Dave and Evelyn from the camera store we were given a copy of the Canon EOS Rebel sl1 our camera that we had a chance to review yeah it's been a world of mirrorless cameras lately and so we were little surprised the Canon announced this camera and so we're gonna test it out ya know we want to find out is this a step forward for Canon or is this a step backwards the canon eos SL 3 is canons compact disc lower camera now they've made this a tiny bit lighter by about 4 grams compared to the SL 2 they've put in a digit 8 processor improve battery performance and 4k video which we'll get into a little bit later it does have the same aps-c size sensor and it's 24 megapixels now if you're thinking of buying the canon SL 3 it is a traditional DSLR camera and what that means is that when i look through the viewfinder here I'm looking through a pentamirror down another mirror
