you well hello sonographer is everywhere and welcome to another episode we've talked a lot on this channel about vintage film cameras so today we're coming into the current century and we're going to have a look at the canon powershot g1 from the year 2000 I bought this camera several years ago from a car boot fair not because I really wanted an old digital camera but because it looks interesting digital technology has moved very very quickly the first digital camera was as far as I'm aware made by coda but it was very much an experimental machine the resolution was very low it wasn't practical and it was a bit of a Frankenstein's monster of a camera of course in 76 the technology hadn't really progressed to the point where it was usable to make pictures and it certainly wasn't consumer friendly by the time this camera was made however in the early 2000s digital resolution had increased
