this is the Vixia r100 camera it gets loaded with an SD card underneath here then you close the door and your cart or your camera's ready to record you turn the camera on by pushing this button up on the top here and it'll turn on now you're gonna have to format your media for this specific camera in order for it to record onto this card to do this you're going to hit the function key scroll down to menu and then you're going to go over to this second wrench where it says initialize trying to click initialize yes and then use wait for your card to initialize this formats the card so that it's ready to be recorded on by this specific camera every card needs to be formatted in the camera you're going to shoot with before you shoot and then just hit the function button to return to your normal shooting menu now this button here is your record button push that and it'll start recording thin
