alright today's job is fixing the car remote control fob Rover Freelander - also same used on the launch of a discovery for possibly three of my Shah Range Rover Red Rover Sport blue all pretty similar what happens after a few years is the rechargeable battery gets ragged and needs replacing I've taken this apart once you can see where it's been glued runny edges and gave the internal battery a bit of a boost charge from a separate power supply which pulled it back into life for a little little while but it's still a little bit intermittent and battery nannies replacing the battery a Panasonic vl2 three-30 from ebay cost about five quid this is the new one which you're going to put in so first job to do is split the case apart so take out the the key at the end pressing in this clip over here and leaving out the section Yin section of the fob which reveals the emergency key we'll get th
