Description
The Carlisle 3686500 Duo-Sweep medium-duty flagged angle broom has flared polypropylene bristles with flagged tips and can be used with a dust pan (sold separately) for quick cleanups in restaurants, food service facilities, or other public places. The broom's angled shape facilitates sweeping along baseboards and reaching under furniture and into corners. The polypropylene bristles have wide, flared ends for greater floor coverage than standard bristles and for sweeping along walls. Flagged tips trap fine dirt particles on smooth floors. The broom has two handle holes, one angled and one upright, for sweeping at different angles. This product measures 56 x 12 (L x W). (L is length, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right.) The bristles measure between 5-1/2" and 7" long. The broom is free of BPA (Bisphenol A) to address food safety concerns raised by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other organizations. Brooms are cleaning tools used to sweep floors as well as porches, decks, driveways, sidewalks, and other outdoor surfaces. They typically consist of a long handle attached to a broom head with natural or synthetic bristles to trap dirt, dust, or debris. Certain brooms can be used indoors or outdoors or both, or on rough or smooth surfaces, depending on the type of bristles they have and other factors. Some brooms are color-coded to prevent cross-contamination and help facilitate workplace organization. Brooms are used by janitors, housekeepers, and other professionals in a wide variety of commercial and industrial environments, including airports, hospitals, hotels, offices, schools, and stadiums. Carlisle manufactures food service equipment and supplies and sanitary maintenance tools and supplies for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. The company, founded in 1954, is headquartered in Oklahoma City, OK.
