He dedicated himself to studying the dark mystical forces of the universe,   becoming the first master of the dark arts. Chthon inscribed all the knowledge of the dark arts onto   indestructible parchments. The parchments were bound into a book, known as the Dark Hold or   the Book of Sins. It would cause so much evil throughout history. Chthon had to flee Earth   due to Demogorge the God-Eater. He left the Dark Hold on Earth as a conduit. He created   a realm very close to the Earth dimension, leaving him the ability to influence the Earth. Chthon spawned demons known as the N'Garai, who were able to return to Earth as he could not.   Chthon was responsible for the creation of Vampires, the curse of the Werewolf, and Zombies.   Years
