hi this is Steve Kaz and if you've been following along in this series of videos and we're able to interconnect all the equipment you should be at the point where in IP serial the dumb terminal program that you can verify that you are communicating with the TNC you do that by getting the command prompt now it's time to go in and start setting up some commands in the TNC to make it function the way you want it to so we're going to do that through the dumb terminal so we will open packet message manager and we are going to go to the dumb terminal which is called IP serial you do that from the Tools menu at the bottom of the tools menu is interactive packet and the first item in the submenu is serial slash comm port and that opens the IP serial when IP serial is open you should click the connect button at the top and I first thing I'm going to do is turn the monitor off and when you get th
