These are real Texas Western Diamondback Rattlesnakes that have been made into keychains. This keychain is made up of an open-mouthed rattlesnake head that is attached to a snake-style keychain. These measure approximately 2.5" to 4.5" long by 1" to 2" wide, and has a height of 1.25" to 2". Expect some variation in size from piece to piece. The rattlesnake heads are freeze dried. If you live in a humid place, you can spray the head with clear bug spray. The photo is representative of what to expect. It is not the exact item you will receive. There are slight variations in each piece as these are natural, not manufactured items. Please note: The snakes are rounded up each year as they are a physical danger to both the public and livestock. They are humanely killed and everything is used: the venom goes to making anti-venom; the meat is eaten; the hides are used for leather to make wallets, hats, boots; and the heads and tails are used for crafts, jewelry, and decoration. As long as people insist on living in rattlesnake habitat, the rattlesnakes will be removed from their areas. None of our rattlesnake products come from California or Oregon. Product of USA.
