Description
Purpose:The tradition of pipe smoking is one of the oldest ways of tobacco use. The pipe remains a comforting approach often overlooked by the modern smoker. Materials Used:The bowl of the pipe is hand carved out of the pear wood; the stem is acrylic. The surface of the pipe is covered with wax mastic and can be polished at any time with soft cloth to preserve its original condition. Please note that colour and shape may vary slightly from the picture. Specifications:"Metal Filter" - this pipe is equipped with metal (stinger) filter. Its purpose is to disrupt airflow and cool the smoke. The filter is removable and easy to clean. Care & Cleaning:1. To resist the bowl’s wall from burning through, all our pipes being pre-carbonized. Please DON’T scratch the carbon layer when using the pipe for the first time. 2. Please DON'T smoke a new pipe for prolonged period of time or fill the pipe fully when using it for the first several times. Do short and light whiffs. The idea is to create a protective cake of ash throughout the entire chamber that will prevent it from burning through too soon. Otherwise the pipe’s bowl might get cracked. 3. Please use a designated pipe lighter or matches to light a pipe instead of torch-style lighter, to avoid burning the rim of pipe’s bowl. 4. Please make sure the pipe cooled completely before cleaning. NEVER clean while it is warm as it may cause cracks. 5. Run a pipe cleaner through the stem and tap out the remnants of ash and tobacco. 6. Please DON'T remove the stem of a pipe while it is still warm as the fit of the stem might get loosen. Also, it can cause you to crack the shank or break the tenon of your pipe. 7. The stem can be cleaned with a warm soapy water. Please wait for the pipe to dry completely before re-assembling it.
