welcome to buy computers on by TV I'm here with Chris from linksys today to talk about some hot new wireless technologies so Chris what do we have here well at linksys we're just about to announce the new wireless standard draft end product and we're here to talk about the product and what it offers consumers today the new draft end standard expands the capability of a home wireless network and offers up to four times better range in up to 12 times better speed so if I currently have a wireless network this would be a solution that would be good for me to upgrade or is it a good for a starting point this is really intended for someone who has a home network and wants to be able to take advantage of some of the new technologies that are out there for example Internet telephony high-definition video they want to be able to move these things across their network and the new end standard is
