today we're installing subs uh subwoofers actually in my 2011 ford f-250 this is a lariat with the 6.7 power stroke diesel um but ultimately we're talking about installing subs in the back of a super duty originally at a single eight inch here i don't know what the wattage was i do know it's an 8 ohm i had a built-in amplifier underneath that black plastic you see there that was part of the my sync system the truck now has an aftermarket head unit so that one no longer is functional looked online um on amazon got this box i think it was like 112 dollars shipped could get a dual 10 or dual 12. i chose dual 10. um the cost of the box was the same but with subs that are sealed you need what's called uh air space or the volume of the air in there and of course the bigger the sub the more air space you need so a 12-inch sub is going to need more air space than a 10 inch and these are already
