today we removing the stereo from a 2004 Cadillac DeVille this is a simple process these are VIN lock stereos which mean if you replace this you have to go back to the dealership in order to have them program the radio to have it operate in the car but we're going to start with our prior tool down at the bottom edge of the small trim panel around the car stereo and pry this panel up away from the car stereo and it will release along the bottom and up the side there are two clips that sit here one is going to be up here and one here and we're going to hinge the panel up because it also goes up underneath the dash on this side we're going to pull this one up that one released go to the left side as well and that clip should release as well and we can pull the panel back we do have here two clips that are on the back of the panel one clip goes here and the other clip goes here and we still
