today we're removing the stereo from a 1999 Lexus ls400 we have it in the shop the stereo and shop today because we're going to add iPod to this stereo for a direct audio input we also have a display segments not all working properly which is another common problem as well and we're going to take care of both these problems we're going to start with placing the key in the ignition shifting to a lower gear and we're going to move to the AC vents here we just had a difficult time getting these out of the shop but usually prying along the edge they come right out we have removed the other side of the vents but there is a little with a pick tool you can remove the clamp over here and we've already removed this so that we can show a little bit better picture of how this comes out but once the little clip here on the side and if you go in through the vent you can go back to that clip on the s
