Imagine sleeping with a CPAP mask that has no hose attached. No hose to pull or push on your mask and cause air leaks. No hose to get tangled in. No hose to rollover onto. No hose to rub across your body. This is what it feels like when you use the CHRALS S10 which gently lifts the hose above you. The unique rotary arm quietly moves the hanging hose up and down as you turn to eliminate slack and keep it out-of-the-way so your sleep is not disturbed. Four adjustments are provided to optimize the performance and provide a very light pull or push on your mask, minimizing mask leaks: 1. Hose weight compensation via tension adjust knob. 2. Hose stiffness compensation via sliding weight on short dowel. 3. Hose head-to-foot movement dynamic or fixed via thumbscrew. 4. Rotary arm pivot height above mattress via base screw. The pull or push on the mask in the back sleeping position is typically less than the weight of 4 pennies (10 grams) with a thin 15 mm hose. The CHRALS S10 mounts at the side of the bed near the pillow and allows mask-to-hose connection movement in an area of about 3 feet from side of the bed and 2 feet from head of the bed. The mattress mount base is inserted between the mattress and foundation. The mattress mount can be used if a side board does not block access and the mattress height above floor is 17" or more. The magnetically latched storage position holds the hose vertically near the side of the bed so it is out-of-the-way and aids in the draining of any moisture build-up. The hose is secured by two hook & loop ties and a hose clamp. This product is designed and hand built in the USA. The primary parts are made of brushed aluminum and unpainted solid poplar wood. Product requires assembly. Assembly time is approximately 15 minutes. Hose is not included.
