so one of the things bystanders worry about when thinking about starting cpr is do they feel a pulse they're like i don't know do you feel a pulse hey you check over here do you feel a pulse they go back and forth and they're scared to actually start chest compressions so one of the things we started teaching is look at chest rise and fall is your chest moving if the answer that is no start chest compressions push dead ceiling chest hard and fast about 110 beats a minute is a good number to try to be at if they wake up and tell you to stop pushing the chest and stop pushing on their chest so look at chest rise and fall if you don't see chest rise and fall start chest compressions call 9-1-1 so thank you guys for watching you never know when you'll be the first responder remember you need the right gear and the right training
