Starting with sanding and dusting the surface is recommended but not required. Apply the product with a brush, roller or cloth, following the direction of the grain. Let it soak in. After 15 minutes remove the excess oil with a dry, lint-free cloth. Let it sit for 12-24 hours, until completely dry. Gently abrade the surface with a finishing pad for a better look.
