welcome everyone in this video we're going to demonstrate how to quickly make a mating d-sub connector so that you can fasten 2d subs together which is commonly used when you want to extend the harness or you want to create a harness adapter from let's say a db9 to a DV 15 or vice versa where where it isn't just isn't handy to deepen the other d-sub connector as you can see here we have a D sub and a D sub mating kit it's just male/female number four standoffs and the first thing you want to do is fasten the standoffs into the d-sub connector there are two washers a standard washer and a lock washer and the nut and these are three sixteenths nuts here I'm using a nut driver that's been modified so it fits in there fits on the d-sub nicely and you can see it's not as thick as a normal nut driver here now you do that for for both sides once you have that done we need to modify the back sh
