howdy folks so longtime viewers of this channel may recognize this server as uh tesla my primary file server which is used in production and uh it's just a 4u 36b super micro chassis however things are not as they seem because this is actually the machine that you remember seeing this is the machine that used to be tesla it's now called darwin and it lives in a different room so i now have two of these things this is the server that you all remember it's you know ddr3 all that good stuff but the other one is a slightly newer generation with newer hardware better specs and this all came about when i was upgrading my storage uh for production then i needed to upgrade my backup storage and i ended up with having a lot of problems with my existing backup server and so it didn't make a lot of sense to buy a new system for my backups so i bought a new system for production and moved the old p
