optica exotica and welcome back i'm reviewing the endeavor ed 10 by 42 binoculars by vanguard the focus wheel has nice friction it has really a nice smooth wheel to it it just has a slight amount of mush very slight i have to warn you these binoculars suffer from some internal light reflectivity here and we are looking however uh towards the sun a bit um and that's about as close as i would get to uh to looking towards the sun in these binoculars already my eyes are aching from all that extra internal light that's being reflected and there is a slight overall milkiness to the image sometimes under these conditions the colors are slightly muted although those greens are pretty and the binoculars are decently sharp but for approximately 300 us dollars or so i feel like i might be able to eek out a little bit better quality with other brands and there is a fisherman these binoculars do not
