It features a proprietary IP-based network topology, which allows it to operate as a standalone system, transmitting the HDMI signal to distances up to 120 meters over a single Ethernet cable*. You can also plug it into your existing Ethernet local area network and use the existing network infrastructure to transmit the signal over any distance, without interfering with your LAN traffic. It supports the 1080p FHD resolution, 3D video, and multichannel, compressed and uncompressed audio. Best of all, it is a true Plug-n-Play solution, allowing installers and end-users alike to quickly and easily create an HDMI distribution system for home and business applications alike.

Auto Scale Resolution: The system automatically adjusts the output resolution based on the signal source and transmission distance to ensure the highest quality picture possible.

[Music] i'm taking a look today at this hdmi over ethernet extender from p way this is model number pw dash ht202p and there will be an amazon link in the description p way did send me this product to review for free but that will in no way influence my opinion of this device this is going to be a fair and honest review so first off why would you even want something like this the benefit of running ethernet cable in comparison to hdmi is the ethernet cable is much easier to run than hdmi cable especially if you're going to run the cable behind wall paneling i know from personal experience the ethernet cable is much easier to pull than hdmi cable also ethernet cable is generally going to be a lot cheaper overall as well this particular unit will only display 1080p but i can see that in an instance where you're going to be setting up a device port for a conference room for displays or for
