okay in an earlier video I showed you how to solder these female barrel connectors in this video I'm going to show you how to solder the male connector the male connector fits into the female connector to provide power to your electrical electronic projects okay so to get started the male connector has a cover that unscrews like this good catch and inside there's a term a tab that connects to the inside of the connector and another longer tab that connects to the to the outside there's no standard but most of the time the the center the the middle tab is the positive connector but you need to double check that for your particular project before you get started okay so I've got it's a cable here with two wires gonna connect the red wire which is in this project just going to just buy a hot wire my positive wire and connect that to the center of the tube and then the black wire to the out
