this is the toshiba satellite p55 a 5200 it has a bad harddrive and so we're going to be replacing it with a SanDisk SSD it's their 240 gig version and it should greatly improve the performance and battery life of this computer so what you'll need to begin this disassembly is a small computer Phillips head screwdriver my favorite size is triple zero but I think double zero or zero would work as well and a pry tool so we're going to start this by making sure that we disconnect our power the laptop is powered off this laptop has an internal battery so we can't disconnect the battery until we pop the cover off for servicing this system this Toshiba must be booted into the BIOS and you must disable the built-in battery so we're going to start by taking out all of the screws on the bottom side of the laptop when you do a disassembly it's a good idea to have a park box to put your screws in a
