and welcome today we're gonna be taking apart a lenovo legion y5 30 gaming laptop this particular model is the 15 i CH and to begin we're gonna remove that bottom case and to do that we're gonna need a small Phillips bit this is a 2.5 we'll go ahead and flip it over and we'll go ahead and remove all of the screws on the bottom case I won't be able to screws out we're gonna take a small bladed object such as the spudger and just get in between the palm rest and the bottom case so I've kind of cracked open the seam here a little bit but you can see the separation of the two pieces and we're just going to go along both sides and try to pop this bottom cover off and after you work that bottom cover loose you can remove it and then you'll have access to the inside of the laptop alright so looks like the first thing we'll do here is remove the battery so let's go ahead and remove those batter
