so i just bought a new dell latitude e 7440 for the office actually i bought two of them which is the trick because when i powered this one on it didn't work the screen didn't work and what we've discovered is that if you slide it so that the contacts that are on the bottom there's contacts on the bottom for a docking station if the contacts for the docking station make contact with the laptop below it in just such a way like you might stack two of them on top of one another and line it up just so boop there it went the screen turns off now the computer is still on because the light's still on and it'll still make noise it'll still boot up but the screen won't work and none of the lights on the laptop will work but as soon as i knock it out of alignment there it goes bring it back knock it out of alignment a little bit more and it's back so we don't know if dell knows about this but it'
