today i'm going to be replacing a damaged laptop screen for a dell latitude 7490 you need the replacement part which you can buy from many computer repair places a phillips head screwdriver and a plastic card so that you can get into the laptop to remove the damaged screen we'll go ahead and get started first you want to slide this in here very carefully so i've gone ahead and pried apart most of this just keep going very carefully without damaging anything also you're going to want to watch out for the webcam just make sure that you don't damage that there are what looks like two screws one on the bottom right and one on the bottom left that i'm going to be removing with the phillips head screwdriver once you remove the screws and carefully lay this down and look for this so that you can disconnect it now you're ready to attach the cable to your new bezel it helps to lift back the tape
