The Secret to Its Big Sound
Competing center channel speakers of this size usually have weak lower-midrange response; that part of the audio range that contains the "warmth" and "body" of voices and musical instruments. The ProCenter avoids this critical problem by pressure-coupling their exclusive BDSS technology drivers to two equal-sized mid/bass radiators cleverly placed on the sides of the speaker. This technique doubles the lower-midrange/bass radiating area of the speaker without increasing the size of the enclosure.

Definitive Technology ProSub 1000
The ProSub 1000 features a 300 Watt amplifier driving a high-excursion 10 inch front-mounted direct-radiating woofer that is pressure-coupled to an 10 inch Low Bass radiator on the bottom of the enclosure. The net radiating area of the ProSub 1000 is 39% greater than a single 12 inch woofer but with better speed, pitch definition and control. Pressure-coupled Low Bass Radiator on the enclosure bottom works to produce deep, soul-stirring bass. Side-mounted volume control makes bass level adjustment easy and convenient.

hello youtube dustin here average guy hi-fi got another set of speakers here to review for you guys um this right here is something i picked up over the weekend this is definitive technology pro cinema 600 series speakers so this is just three of them but it actually came with six speakers so it came with the pro cinema 600 um center channel speaker came with uh four of the pro cinema satellite speakers which are these little guys and then it also came with the um the pro sub 600 which is this little guy here so this would be kind of a good competitor to like bose speakers the kef smaller speakers the clips smaller speakers um for people that can't get away with getting big boxes and things like that in their living room or this would make a really good bedroom set so um walked into a local pawn shop this set right here retails for uh 7.99 um steve gutenberg wrote a good article that i
