hello I'm Shannon from the Dell and D storage engineering team and I'm here to introduce you to the premium features Dell has to offer for the empty series storage arrays later in the video I will also assist you in activating your premium feature key for use the dell powervault md storage array premium features include snapshot virtual disk copy high performance tier and remote replication a snapshot is a point in time copy of the data on your storage array it provides for the easy recovery of a file accidentally altered or deleted the dell powervault snapshot premium feature allows for up to eight snapshots per virtual disk and 128 total per storage array a virtual disk copy is a full replicated copy of source data for quick and seamless data relocation and disk based backup and recovery it provides a complete real-time backup of data using disks already existing in your storage array
